“See how much the Father has loved us! His love is so great that we are called God’s children - and so in fact, we are” (1 John 3:1).

 

Faith Steps.

  1. Have each person in the family answer the question “Who is Jesus?” and “What can we learn from Jesus?” Discuss the essay “Who is Jesus?” on pg. 107 of the Family of Faith parent book or watch the video below “Jesus Wasn’t a ‘Good Man” and then revisit the questions.

  2. “Hunt for miracles” (Family of Faith parent book pg. 110-112) then describe the 4 types of miracles that show Jesus is God. (Family of Faith parent book pg. 110-114). What are some signs and wonders the Lord has used in your life to bring you closer to him?

  3. Play the “Redemption Game” (Family of Faith parent book pg. 119). Discuss a time you knew you needed help from someone. Create a prayer of petition as a family. Say this prayer each morning for a week.

  4. Explain what Baptism is and what it does. (see Family of Faith parent book pg. 122-124 or the Sophia Sketchpad video below).

  5. As a family read Romans 6:1-14 in The Catholic Children’s Bible. Discuss what it means to you to be a son or daughter of God through baptism.
