The activites listed from the curriculum will support each of these steps, however you DO NOT have to complete the specific activites to complete the step. The steps are meant to provide you learning goals for the month.
Read Gen. 1-3 in The Catholic Children’s Bible and discuss. (Family of Faith Parent Guide Lesson 3: Activity 1, pg. 51)
Explain what it means to be created in God’s image. Give examples. (Family of Faith Parent Guide Lesson 3: Activities 1-3; Videos below).
Describe an image that shows how grace works in you life. Ex. A candle flame that grows bigger. (Family of Faith Parent Guide Lesson 3: Activities 4-5)
Explain what a covenant is. What sort of covenants or promises exist in your family? (Family of Faith Parent Guide Lesson 4: Activity 1)
Give an example of a symbol or image God gave us to remember his promise. Describe a time God gave you hope in your own life. (Family of Faith Parent Guide Lesson 4: Activity 2)
